Warehouse of the German distributor Bukh Bremen

The Alliance Marine group announced to BoatIndustry the acquisition of Bukh Bremen and Midinox. The expansion strategy, in France and abroad, of the manufacturer and distributor of nautical fittings and equipment is continuing.

Bukh Bremen, a German heavyweight of the nautical industry

The Alliance Marine group, which already includes Vidal Diffusion Marine, Reya, Euromarine, Intermer, Seimi, Berthelot, Plastimo and Kent Marine, completed the acquisition of the German company Bukh Bremen in November 2017. Bukh Diesel Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH was founded on 4 May 1976 as a German subsidiary of the Danish engine manufacturer Bukh. Today, Bukh Bremen GmbH is Germany's leading importer and largest wholesaler of boating equipment.

The company, based in Bremen in northern Germany, has its own storage facilities of 3,000 m², which will open in 2014. It represents 28 marine equipment manufacturers, ranging from anodes to Z-drives bases and employs 28 people. Bukh Bremen only works for professionals, whether shipyards or dealers. Its land of 6 500 m² offers opportunities for rapid expansion.

Midinox joins the VDM group

The Alliance Marine group also acquired control of Midinox at the end of October 2017. The company, specialized in stainless steel hardware and bolting, is integrated into the Vidal Diffusion Marine structure. Based in Gardanne, Bouches-du-Rhône, Midinox has been selling stainless steel equipment to professionals since 1994. The brand announces a catalogue of more than 8,000 references, ranging from bulk in screws and bolts to fittings parts, cables, valves and accessories in 316 (A4) stainless steel, brass plumbing, watering and technical hoses or electrical cables.
